Our Divorce Practice

We represent individual at all stages of a divorce, from the decision to file and the establishment of temporary orders for custody, visitation and support through negotiated settlements, mediation, and trial, to post-judgment requests for modification or enforcement of existing court orders. We also offer representation in collaborative divorce proceedings.

We handle a wide range of issues related to or arising out of divorce, including:

  • Child custody and visitation. We will help you establish and implement custody and parenting plans that are in the best interests of your children while protecting your rights as parents.
  • Child support. We will review all child support orders for compliance with state guidelines and to verify that all income is included in the calculation.
  • Alimony or spousal support. We will help you determine whether alimony is warranted and, if so, how much should be paid and for how long.

If your ex-spouse has failed or refused to comply with the terms of a divorce order, has left you without the financial resources to meet your needs, or is in violation of a temporary divorce order, we can help you get an emergency relief order.

Though we will encourage you to settle your differences amicably, we have extensive trial experience and will aggressively protect your interests in a court of law.
