Helping You Enforce a Divorce Order
If your divorce is finalized, but your ex-spouse refuses to comply with the divorce decree, either by failing to pay child support or alimony as ordered or by refusing custody or visitation, we can help you take the appropriate legal actions to enforce the court's order. Whenever possible, we will encourage you to find ways to cooperatively resolve any disagreement, and stand ready to help you negotiate a solution to any dispute. However, if you have unsuccessfully tried to amicably resolve differences over custody, visitation or support, we will aggressively protect your rights in court.
When Circumstances Have Changed
Frequently, after a divorce is finalized, one of the parties experiences a change in circumstances that makes existing orders about custody, visitation or support difficult or impossible to abide by. You may be required to take a different shift at work or you may be asked to move to keep your job. You may have health issues that affect your ability to effectively parent your children.
When circumstances change substantially, you can petition the court for a modification of your existing divorce decree. We will represent either party in modification proceedings, whether you seek a modification or want to contest any proposed changes.
